Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to join our team at St John's Meads Church of England Primary School. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and students in achieving academic excellence.

About the Role

This is a permanent, term-time only position, starting in November/December. We are looking for an individual who has a high level of classroom expertise, a track record of good or better teaching, and a secure understanding of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
  • Assist with the management of classroom behavior and discipline
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals
