Job Summary:

Antwerp Dental Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Dental Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Practice Manager in the day-to-day management of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Health & Safety, CQC, and GDC.
  • Complete clinical audits and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage equipment, stock, and supplies to maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Chair nurse meetings and lead the nursing team to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to the nursing team.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a dental practice setting, with a strong understanding of clinical and administrative procedures.
  • Current GDC registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the nursing team.
  • Strong IT literacy and ability to use practice management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
