Financial Planning and Analysis SpecialistKey Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Commercial Finance, Planning, and Analysis teams, as well as the wider Finance team, to ensure seamless integration of financial performance.
  2. Provide timely and insightful financial and business analysis to inform decision-making at the Board of Governors and Executive Leadership Team levels, driving organisational success through strategic thinking and high-quality analysis and reporting.
  3. Lead the development and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring accountability for financial performance through the implementation of budgetary controls and governance mechanisms.
  4. Drive the implementation of budgetary controls and governance mechanisms to ensure financial performance is accurately reflected and decision-making is informed.
Requirements
  1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA or relevant qualification, with a strong understanding of core accounting principles and practices.
  2. Experience in core accounting roles with a focus on month-end processes, with a proven track record of delivering timely and robust budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning processes.
  3. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems such as Agresso/Unit4 and TM1, with the ability to leverage these skills to drive financial performance and inform decision-making.
  4. A flexible approach to working, with the ability to work 2 days a week in the office based in central London and the rest working remotely, with a strong opportunity for this role to get extended or go permanent.
