About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in on-call rotas, and contributing to the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a full shift middle grade on-call rota, including second on-call for delivery suite and gynaecological emergencies
  • Attend theatres and antenatal and gynaecology clinics
  • Contribute to the development of the department and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • MRCOG Part 1 and a minimum of 3 years middle grade experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the NHS
  • Previous on-call experience is desirable
  • GMC registration with a licence to practice
