About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Supervisor to join our dynamic Highways & Engineering team. As a Contract Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of a wide range of civil engineering and highway construction projects. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Supervisor in delivering service objectives and team tasks effectively.
  • Supervise and inspect highways engineering works carried out by external contractors, ensuring compliance with contract procedures, construction standards, and specifications.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external organisations, customers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of highway engineering schemes.
  • Provide technical guidance to contractors on construction methods, material specifications, design options, and the use of equipment, ensuring that all practices comply with safety requirements.
