Position: Teacher of Mathematics (Special Educational Needs and Mental Health school)

Location: Herefordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: £34,000 per annum

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics who shares our vision and aspirations for the young people in our school. This role is suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum.
  • Qualified Teaching Status or a Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Qualification.
  • Further Qualifications and Professional Development.
  • Ability to lead and manage Mathematics.
  • Committed and enthusiastic teacher.
  • The ability to plan and assess pupils' work.
  • The ability to manage time effectively.
  • High level of written and communication skills.
  • To display sensitivity to the needs of others.
  • To demonstrate the ability to support colleagues and to work as a member of a team.
  • To demonstrate the ability to motivate both pupils and colleagues.

Cambian Hereford School is an independent, DfE-registered, co-educational school, providing specialist education for up to 20 students, aged 11-19.
