Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Due Diligence Expert to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. As a key member of our Offshore Wind team, you will play a crucial role in leading technical consultancy assignments and driving business growth.

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Due Diligence Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading technical due diligence and advisory projects in offshore wind and renewable energy, managing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery of projects.
  • Guiding and training staff on technical due diligence, valuation, and risk management.
  • Developing new consultancy opportunities through your professional network.
  • Preparing tenders and proposals in collaboration with department heads.
  • Providing expert advice on various offshore wind topics, including project development, feasibility, procurement, construction, and more.
  • Maintaining project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies.
  • Mentoring junior staff and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Staying up-to-date on technological and regulatory developments impacting the business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical advisory roles within the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind.
  • Proven experience in leading technical due diligence and advisory projects.
  • Strong project management skills with a client-oriented focus.
  • Expertise in one or more areas of technical due diligence (e.g., wind turbine technology, supply chain, electrical systems).
  • An established client network in due diligence (buyer, seller, lender sides).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across all phases of offshore wind projects.
