About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Dakota Leeds. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the specification set by the Head Chef, ensuring consistency and quality in all menu items.
  • Carry out prep work throughout the kitchen, maintaining excellent knife skills and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • Be flexible with shift patterns and available to work around the needs of our business.
  • Have a strong understanding and ability to adhere to health and safety and food hygiene legislation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef.
  • Experience and ability to carry out food preparation of fish and meats.
  • Demonstrate a passion for quality food and preparation.
  • Be hardworking and a team-player.
  • Previous qualifications in Food Safety are preferred, although training in Health & Safety, Allergens, and Food Hygiene standards and procedures will be given.
