About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Quest Employment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing office and client ledgers, ensuring compliance with legal accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and verify accurate daily updates to the accounts case management system, ensuring seamless record-keeping and timely decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external accountants to process monthly staff salaries, including mileage payments, and reconcile bank statements against invoices.
  • Produce detailed daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for Senior Directors, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improved financial performance.
  • Support quarterly and year-end VAT returns with Finance and external accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage financial responsibilities with suppliers and third parties, including pension providers, accountants, and banks, with foreign transfers as required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in financial administration, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
