Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Indus Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our health centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the receipt and storage of shipments, ensuring quality and quantity.
  2. Coordinate with third-party logistics service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Audit freight costs and documentation to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  4. Ensure accurate inventory management, including tracking and reconciliation of hand receipts.
  5. Organize and maintain files, both manually and electronically.
  6. Monitor and facilitate repair orders, and coordinate deliveries for returned items.
  7. Ensure warehouse space is sufficient for incoming deliveries and that all items are properly numbered and tagged.
  8. Manage warehouse security, including preparing badges, passes, and identification cards.
  9. Ensure regular supply of essential items to health centers, minimizing stockouts.
  10. Maintain tracking mechanisms for stock at health facility level.
  11. Support fleet, assets, and inventory management at district and health facility levels.
  12. Provide regular reports on stock levels, temperature, and humidity records.
  13. Generate demand for essential items based on consumption reports.
  14. Maintain a record section in the warehouse, including old bin cards, folders, and other relevant documents.
  15. Dispose of damaged items according to SOPs and identify slow-moving items for timely utilization.
  16. Manage the quarantine section for short-expiry and expired stock.
