About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Developer to join our team at NEXT Retail Ltd. as we embark on a major project to rewrite our customer-facing iOS apps using SwiftUI.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer to make a significant impact on our eCommerce apps, which drive around 50% of our online trade.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishing architectural foundations for new iOS apps, drawing on your experience to influence best practice.
  • Designing and implementing features that provide a rich, inclusive, and accessible experience for all users.
  • Building adaptive user interfaces that scale perfectly across various screen sizes.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

About You:

Requirements
  • Technical proficiency in building robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with familiarity with the Apple ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
  • Proficiency in implementing Unit Testing and UI Tests using XCTest framework.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Solid experience in continuous integration and delivery using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Restful APIs integration.
