About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Developer to join our team at NEXT Retail Ltd. and lead the development of our customer-facing iOS apps using SwiftUI.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project that will bring a fresh, accessible, and seamless experience to our users. Our eCommerce apps drive around 50% of our online trade, making this a fantastic project to be part of.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish architectural foundations for new iOS apps, drawing on your experience to influence best practice.
  • Design and implement features that offer rich functionality and an inclusive, accessible experience for all users.
  • Build adaptive user interfaces that scale perfectly across various screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

About You:

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience in building robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with familiarity with the Apple ecosystem.
  • Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, optimize application performance, and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • Automation: Proficient in implementing Unit Testing and UI Tests using XCTest framework to ensure application reliability.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proven track record in agile development methodologies, including experience with Scrum.
  • CI/CD: Solid experience in continuous integration and delivery using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • RESTful APIs: Hands-on experience with Restful APIs integration.
