About the Role



We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Site Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Site Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.



The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hire and return of plant and equipment, including scheduling and tracking usage.
  • Purchase materials and supplies as needed, negotiating prices and delivery schedules where possible.
  • Investigate and resolve queries related to plant and equipment, including invoices and calibrations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment, ensuring that all necessary checks and inspections are carried out.
  • Order parts and supplies for fitters, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ordering requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date records of plant and equipment, including location, condition, and maintenance history.
  • Prepare weekly reports for contract managers, providing detailed information on site activities and progress.
  • Report any breakdowns or issues with plant and equipment to management promptly.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to improve site efficiency and reduce costs.


Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.


What We Offer:



As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
