Job Description

As a UK Conservation Project Manager at WWF-UK, you will play a critical role in leading conservation projects that make a significant impact on the UK's natural environment. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and execute conservation projects, working closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to achieve project objectives.

You will have a strong background in conservation, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of conservation principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring and evaluating project progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, biology, or ecology.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in conservation project management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A deep understanding of conservation principles and practices, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Salary and Benefits
