About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Welfare Officer to join our team at Pergola on the Wharf. As a key member of our venue's support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor guests for signs of vulnerability, including intoxication, unwanted attention, and being left alone.
  • Support the Bar Team after refusal of alcohol sales and escort guests from the venue as needed.
  • Log all interventions in the 'Welfare Log' and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team, SIA Door Supervisors, and Canary Wharf Private Security to maintain a safe and secure environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Caring and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in late-night bars or venues, either as an operator or security.
  • Strong spatial awareness and ability to multitask.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and integrity-driven.
