About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Education Specialist to join our team at Future Education. As an SEN Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of our students with SEMH requirements.
About You: To succeed in this role, you should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably in SEN or SEMH settings. A strong understanding of SEMH and behaviour management strategies is essential. You should also have patience, resilience, and an empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level, adapting curriculum content to make learning accessible and engaging for students with SEMH needs.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.
- Work closely with other staff to track progress, adapt teaching methods as needed, and foster a supportive environment where students feel safe to explore and ask questions.
- Promote social, emotional, and academic growth through consistent feedback, encouragement, and structured routines.
Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including [insert benefits].
