About the Role

ADDMAN Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Precision Inspector to join our Quality Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring production parts meet customer requirements using CMM equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment
  • Perform CMM programming, setup, and analysis of both in-process and finished products
  • Work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts
  • Perform first-piece production inspection and provide feedback
  • Train others on CMM operation and appropriate methods
  • Check and verify machined component dimensions using measuring devices to blueprints
  • Communicate effectively with machinists, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality standards
  • Maintain and generate all required quality documentation, including inspection and discrepancy reports
  • Document findings and develop planning for jobs

Requirements

This position requires a 2-year technical degree and/or 2 years of shop floor machining experience or 6 months of Quality Inspection experience. Preferred experience in a machine shop/manufacturing/metalworking industry/environment is also desired. Additionally, knowledge of GD&T and general blueprint interpretation is necessary. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and organization skills are also essential.

Estimated Salary Range:$65,000-$85,000 per year
