Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to lead our team in the design of diverse products across various market sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of product developers in delivering solutions for our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients from start-ups to global market leaders, applying technical skills and passion for innovation to meet and exceed customers' requirements and tight development timescales.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical engineers to deliver complex product developments
  • Designing new products and developing CAD designs using SolidWorks and/or CREO
  • Managing projects or work packages to tight timescales throughout the full product development life cycle
  • Team leadership, including guiding and planning team members' activities

Requirements:

  • A Degree (2.1 or above), in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Mechanical design experience, including design for manufacture and assembly
  • CAD design experience, preferably with SolidWorks and/or CREO
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and multitasking across projects
