Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Traffic and Highway Engineer to join our office in Leeds. The position will support our Development Planning & Design team, covering a wide range of projects for both public authority and private sector clients, including high-profile schemes like TfGM, Canary Wharf, Brent Cross Town, and the re-development of the US Embassy.

As a key member of our team, you will work on providing design advice and solutions to both private and public sector clients, applying best practice techniques consistently. Your responsibilities will include leading work streams within projects, delivering high-quality highway and transportation advice as part of multi-disciplinary teams, and managing multi-disciplinary projects and sub-consultants.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Relevant experience in highway and traffic engineering, ideally with experience of Section 38 / 278 agreements and Section 106 agreements. AutoCAD skills are desirable. Additionally, you should be able to influence colleagues and clients through a balance of supportive and challenging behaviors, and be comfortable working in creative multi-disciplinary teams. Professional and academic qualifications in transport engineering are required.
