Fire Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our team at The Portfolio Group. As a Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance on fire safety, supervise QA and validations for a team of Fire Risk Assessors and Validators.
  • Client Support: Offer timely support to address client concerns regarding fire safety, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Legislation Updates: Stay informed about legislative modifications, ensuring the team is well-informed and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Client Assistance: Provide practical assistance to clients in utilizing online systems, and proactively engage with clients to support their fire services.
  • Complaint Handling: Efficiently handle complaints and service issues, aiming for exceptional client satisfaction.
  • BAFE Standards Management: Stay updated on BAFE standards and effectively manage BAFE systems for Peninsula Group clientele.
  • Specialization in Fire: Utilize your expertise to specialize in fire safety, ensuring comprehensive knowledge in the field.
  • External Liaison: Collaborate with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients, with appropriate approvals.
  • Systems Amendments: Update fire safety management systems and risk assessments based on client requests.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all advice given adheres to BAFE requirements and standards.
  • Development Initiatives: Contribute to the enhancement of fire systems and creation of eLearning modules as required.
  • Guidance & Checklists: Assist in developing Fire Guidance Notes, Standard Phrases, and Checklists for multiple legal jurisdictions serviced by Peninsula.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in fire safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with BAFE standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and organizational goals.
