Job Role: Civil Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer Apprentice to join our growing civils team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the design and development of infrastructure projects, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete an apprenticeship program, learning and developing skills in civil engineering.
  • Develop knowledge of building techniques and materials.
  • Assist in the interpretation of design briefs and undertake design analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to the identification of solutions and provide feedback within the team.
  • Conduct site inspections and gather data to compile comprehensive reports.
  • Maintain records and work folders, ensuring all work is checked and accurate.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external clients.
  • Attend internal design review meetings and work within agreed deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in the construction industry, buildings, or water/drains systems.
  • Competence with computers and ability to learn new software.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
