We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Aerospace Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in Aerospace Engineering and a proven track record of publishing high-quality research in internationally renowned journals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and teaching in Aerospace Engineering, with a focus on one or more of the following areas: Aerospace vehicle design, Aerospace structures and materials, Artificial intelligence.
  • Develop and lead research projects, including securing funding and collaborating with industry partners.
  • Teach and assess undergraduate and graduate engineering students in Aerospace Engineering topics.
  • Contribute to the development of an independent research portfolio, in collaboration with our existing research groups.
  • Engage in academic leadership, including supervising PhD students and managing post-Docs.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated research portfolio in Aerospace Engineering, with a focus on one or more of the above areas.
  • Experience of teaching and assessing undergraduate and graduate engineering students in Aerospace Engineering topics.
  • Strong research leadership skills, including securing funding and collaborating with industry partners.
