About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caretaker to join our team at HC-One. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential care homes, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular audits and maintenance checks to identify and address any issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of fixtures and fittings
  • Ensure all areas of the care home are clean and tidy, including communal spaces and resident rooms
  • Provide technical support and assistance to residents and colleagues as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest standards of care and support are provided to residents
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaking role
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
