As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, assigning tasks and ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Train and evaluate new employees, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Schedule and delegate work for daily cleaning, laundry, and other tasks, ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring we have everything we need to maintain our high standards.
- Inspect residents' rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met, addressing any issues promptly.
- Handle complaints and requests from residents and staff, responding promptly and professionally.
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring the health and well-being of our residents and staff.
- Serve as liaison between housekeeping department and other key departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage budget for housekeeping operations, maintaining records of expenses and ensuring we stay within budget.
- Communicate regularly with management and attend meetings as needed, ensuring we are always working towards our goals.
