About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residential care home, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the care home, including communal areas and resident rooms.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, supporting colleagues and residents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or care role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH and data protection.
