We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Management Accountant to join our client, a leading Private Equity-owned business in the UK. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts for over 10 entities, covering both UK and EU branches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee and approve expense management, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with financial regulations.
- Consolidate financial statements across multiple entities, working with various currencies and managing foreign exchange transactions.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams throughout Europe to ensure accurate cost and payroll reporting.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Support year-end preparation, ensuring all project costs are accurately reflected in the financial statements for both UK and EU entities.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong experience in managing multi-entity, multicurrency financial operations.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing financial reporting efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation, FX transactions, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
