Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java SpringBoot AI)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Client Server, a leading PropTech company. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge AI technology, collaborating with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities
  • Facilitate scalability and adoption of AI, including AI systems and architecture, prompt engine development, continuous monitoring and evaluation
  • Act as an AI champion within the wider technology team, keeping up with the latest advancements and providing mentoring to other engineers

Requirements

  • Commercial experience of working with AI, with a demonstrable interest in Generative AI concepts
  • Strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot
  • Technical project leadership and mentoring experience
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing; Kafka would be a plus
  • Test driven approach, TDD, Agile methodologies and processes
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills
