About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Java Developer to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge AI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to introduce cutting-edge AI technology.
  • Act as an AI champion within the wider technology team, keeping up with the latest advancements and providing mentoring to other engineers.
  • Lead technical projects and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, messaging, and event sourcing systems.
  • Implement test-driven development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
  • Commercial experience working with AI, with a demonstrable interest in Generative AI concepts.
  • Strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot.
  • Technical project leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing, and Kafka.
  • Test-driven approach, TDD, Agile methodologies, and processes.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
