Job Overview

This role offers a rare chance for a Principal Fire Safety Consultant to shape the future talent within our teams through mentorship and development opportunities. You will be part of a dynamic technical team, working alongside experienced engineers and collaborating with other teams, including our Forensics division.

Responsibilities
  • Manage large and complex projects to ensure successful delivery to important clients.
  • Work on a vast portfolio of projects across the UK and globally, involving various types of buildings.
  • Develop and utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and analysis for smoke movement.
  • Employ other forms of computer modeling software, such as CFAST, Pyrosim, and Pathfinder, to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
  • Lead personnel in a team of engineers, mentoring and training graduates.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing construction-related queries confidently.
  • Contribute to Business Development, identifying new clients to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • A background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess a Chartered engineer status or be working towards it.

Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum
