About the Role:

We are a Sheffield-based charity that provides free specialist therapy and counselling for women who have suffered abuse and trauma. Our organisation has a 37-year track record of helping women in Sheffield, and we are now looking for a CEO who can develop and support our organisation to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our organisation through its next phase of development, ensuring strategic growth and income increase.
  • Develop and implement wide-reaching strategies that successfully deliver objectives, with a focus on organisational development and income growth.
  • Collaborate with our Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strategic senior relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing support and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success.
  • Ensure the organisation's commitment to anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practices, and women-only services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of leadership at CEO or senior director level at an organisation of comparable scale and complexity.
  • Excellent knowledge of organisational development, with a successful track record of leading income growth.
  • Collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to bring the best out of a team and to support individual staff development.
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing wide-reaching strategies that successfully deliver objectives.
  • Commitment to anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practices, and women-only services.
