Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our client's team, responsible for driving sales growth in the specification sales process for new build housing and social housing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, ideally within the renewables industry, and a proven track record of success in specifying products to regional offices of national housebuilders, regional house builders, developers, self-build construction providers, local authorities, and housing associations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in the specification sales process for new build housing and social housing projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at regional offices of national housebuilders, regional house builders, developers, self-build construction providers, local authorities, and housing associations.
  • Specify and promote the company's range of renewable energy products, including air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, and electric boilers, to meet government and industry carbon efficiency regulations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the renewables industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the specification sales process and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
