About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to lead our community pharmacy services team in NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative services that improve patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for community pharmacy services, working closely with stakeholders and colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies to design and implement new clinical pathways and standards of care.
  • Quality assure service delivery and ensure that our services are safe, effective, and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Master of Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Accredited postgraduate MSc pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience in a primary care or clinical setting.
  • Proven leadership experience and formal management qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience of pharmacy processes across community pharmacy, hospital, and primary care settings.
