Job Title: Senior Chinese Culinary Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chinese Culinary Expert to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality Chinese cuisine, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef team to design and develop new menu designs that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage and support the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective production of Chinese cuisine.
  • Instill a culture of job pride and ownership among team members, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Plan and coordinate production to meet daily schedules and maintain exceptional quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality ingredients and materials.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products.

Requirements:

  • Passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisine and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Right to work in the UK.
