Job Title: Specialist Chinese Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Chinese Chef to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of Chinese cuisine, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef team to design and develop new menu designs, ensuring consistency with DO & CO standards.
  • Manage and support the Kitchen team, promoting a culture of job pride and ownership.
  • Plan production to meet daily schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and maintaining exceptional DO & CO quality.
  • Establish production of Chinese cuisine recipes that align with pricing structures and customer budgets.
  • Ensure operations adhere to SOPs, Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety, and legal requirements.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products.
Requirements:
  • Passion for cooking authentic Chinese cuisine.
  • Previous experience as a Specialist Chinese Chef.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Well-presented, professional individual with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to be a positive change champion for DO & CO.
  • Clear and engaging communication skills, with strong written and verbal English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or high-end fresh food industry sector.
  • Right to work in the UK.
