Senior Cyber Security Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Analyst to join our team at Bridewell Consulting. As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and execution of test strategies for a range of projects, using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Review requirements and technical documentation to identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential risks.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation scripts, ensuring test automation is effectively integrated into the development process.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing of software solutions, identifying defects and ensuring timely resolution.
- Act as a key point of contact for project status related to testing, addressing issues, risks, and changes as they arise.
- Facilitate test reviews and provide clear and concise test reports, communicating progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring testing activities are well integrated.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst or in a similar testing role, ideally within a technology-driven or cyber security environment.
- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficient using Azure Dev Ops.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues, providing clear testing strategies and recommendations.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to ensure test coverage, identify testing gaps, and suggest improvements for better test automation and overall efficiency.
