Job Summary

We're seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our team in the London & South East Region. As an Operational Risk Business Partner, you'll play a key role in managing risks across our properties and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general advice to a portfolio of properties in your Region on risk management and compliance.
  • Work closely with national specialists in Operational Risk to ensure consistent application of risk management principles.
  • Deal with regulators, develop internal policy, and advise on complex property-related projects.
  • Flex your style to achieve compliance and take a pragmatic approach to risk management.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Health and Safety (e.g. member of IOSH or CIEH).
  • Strong technical expertise in Health and Safety and Risk Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legislative frameworks.
  • Experience of providing expert advice to a range of stakeholders.
  • Practical and pragmatic: demonstrate great influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships – both internally and externally.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £46,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Our benefits package includes:

Location

Your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. You'll spend approximately 40–60% of your working week at a National Trust site, balancing office and home working with site visits and meetings.
