Job Title: Process Development Technologist

Leading international manufacturer of chilled prepared foods seeks a Process Development Technologist for their site in Northamptonshire.

The successful candidate will carry out all relevant manufacturing projects to deliver process development and line trials successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing information to support the creation of customer and factory specifications
  • Responsibility for the planning, preparation and successful execution of process development and line trials to deliver customer requirements and process improvements
  • Monitoring and communicating process trends to ensure launch date adherence, maximum process optimisation and effective communication to customers
  • Ensuring the output of all line trials are fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements
  • Assessing equipment capability
Requirements:
  • Experience in a process role within food manufacturing
  • Factory trials and stage gate experience
  • Ideally educated to degree level in a food science or related subject with relevant food industry qualifications
  • Knowledge of legal labelling legislation and a variety of retailer web-based systems is desirable
  • Confident and able to work both independently and collaboratively

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. The salary is £32k - £35k per annum plus an excellent benefits package.
