Location: Thorpe Hall Hospice, Peterborough
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Thorpe Hall Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, specialist end-of-life care to patients and their families.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including Specialty Doctors, therapy staff, and volunteers, to deliver holistic care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based guidelines
- Provide medicines management, including administering regular medications and setting up syringe drivers and IV medication
- Maintain high standards of care delivery by working collaboratively within regulatory body standards and the Sue Ryder Quality Governance Policy
- Have a good general knowledge of computer-based systems, including SystmOne
- Maintain all records in line with policies and procedures
- Support students on placement at the hospice
