Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Barchester Healthcare.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification to lead our clinical operations across various care homes in the region.

You will be responsible for managing and developing teams to deliver high-quality care and service, working closely with General Managers or hiring managers to implement action plans that meet residents' needs.

In the absence of the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties, helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team. You will inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life.

This includes leading by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking regulatory compliance. You will set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies to achieve your goals.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
  • Teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursing home setting
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Experience helping residents with different health needs
  • Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
