This Attendance Officer position plays a critical role in promoting high levels of school attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with parents, relevant authorities, and other stakeholders to support and improve student attendance.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Enhance student attendance and punctuality
  2. Liaise with parents and relevant authorities to support student attendance
  3. Conduct meetings with students and families to address attendance concerns
  4. Develop and implement strategies to promote good attendance through mentoring and small group work
  5. Maintain accurate attendance records and documentation

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications, including GCSE in Maths and English
  • Experience in monitoring attendance and punctuality of students
  • Ability to build strong relationships with teaching staff and Academy Leadership Team

Compensation and Benefits

">

The salary for this role is Support Staff Pay Scale F: £24,341 to £26,404 pro-rata per annum (£27,711 - £30,060 full time/full year equivalent).
