Web Analytics Lead Specialist

As a Web Analytics Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for leading web and app analytics projects, turning data into actionable insights and driving innovation.
This role offers an exceptional chance to work at the forefront of web and app analytics, shaping strategy and driving data-driven decisions in collaboration with senior leaders and analytics specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to plan and execute A/B tests, defining hypotheses and variations.
- Create and prioritise analytics backlogs and shape roadmaps to drive analytics maturity.
- Manage tagging processes and implementations using Google Tag Manager.
- Partner with product teams to encourage data-driven decision-making.
- Identify commercial opportunities and recommend enhancements to customer experience and profitability.
- Collaborate with data scientists to interpret models and develop actionable insights.
- Design and deliver dashboards and bespoke analysis to support storytelling and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experience in web and/or app analytics, with knowledge of marketing channels like PPC, Display, SEO, or Email.
- Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing, including hypothesis development and testing (Optimizely preferred).
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, SQL (BigQuery or Databricks), and visualisation tools like Tableau or Looker Studio.
- A working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a bonus.
- Proven ability to lead analytical projects, shape roadmaps, and deliver strategic insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, passionate about driving differentiation and success.
