This position is within the Global Cybersecurity department, part of Corporate Services (non-client facing). You will join an established Cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Operations Manager, responsible for managing cybersecurity across the organization globally.
About the Role
This is a pivotal new role within the Global Cybersecurity team, reporting to the Global Chief Information Security Officer. As a Cybersecurity Operations Manager, you will engage in all facets of cybersecurity. You will assist the Global CISO and the Global Cybersecurity team in formulating, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Capco's business and cybersecurity strategies, while also leading the security components of Capco's AI and Gen-AI initiatives.
The purpose of Capco's Cybersecurity strategy is to safeguard our organization against security threats and vulnerabilities, while also ensuring that client contracts, proposals, and services meet our security obligations effectively.
Responsibilities will include managing security threats and identified risks, consulting on cybersecurity matters, monitoring adherence to cybersecurity policies, responding to client pre-sales inquiries, conducting supplier and business assurance, and promoting standards across the organization globally. The role offers flexibility in location and working model, allowing for hybrid or on-site arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Shaping the Capco Cybersecurity Management System and policy framework, defining security policies, processes, and enhancement programs. Leading specific improvement initiatives aligned with the enhancement program. Ensuring compliance across the organization with Global policies and standard methods to meet current security standards and protocols. Supporting effective monitoring and reporting across all business areas to manage cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats within the global infrastructure and network environments. Assisting in security incident management and resolution as needed, while identifying and implementing areas for improvement. Supporting supplier assurance to mitigate supplier risks to Capco, in accordance with the Cybersecurity Management System. Contributing to pre-sales efforts to ensure alignment with the cybersecurity policy framework. Assisting with day-to-day operational matters within the Global Cybersecurity team. AI and GenAI : Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with AI-specific security policies and controls to address risks associated with AI and GenAI technologies. Staying informed and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards for AI. Conducting risk assessments and threat modeling for AI systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks. Monitoring and auditing AI systems for compliance with security policies and procedures, ensuring transparency and accountability in AI decision-making processes. Providing guidance or documentation for internal teams on ethical AI usage, data privacy, and protective measures to prevent biases and ensure fairness in AI applications. Collaborating with internal development and IT teams to integrate security best practices throughout the AI development and deployment lifecycle.Essential Skills
The Cybersecurity Operations Manager is a recognized cybersecurity professional with extensive experience across the key aspects of the role. Experience in developing and implementing AI-specific security policies and controls, or a strong interest and solid understanding of cybersecurity technical and governance challenges related to AI and Gen-AI. Experience in multi-site, complex IT outsourcing or professional service organizations, preferably within Financial Services. Strong people management skills with the ability to influence others indirectly. Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve and mitigate security-related threats and risks. Understanding of regulatory and audit requirements concerning cybersecurity and privacy issues. Proficiency in time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. High-impact communication, influencing, and presentation skills. A passion for technology and security with a commitment to delivering results and a proactive approach. Adaptability to change, demonstrating an impressive ability to respond to the evolving needs of the business and cybersecurity.
