Cybersecurity Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Manager to join our team at LT Harper - Cyber Security Recruitment. As a key member of our Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of security technologies to ensure high-performance threat detection and incident response.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SOC operations, including threat detection and incident response, and will be able to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and managing security technologies to ensure high-performance threat detection and incident response
  • Leading efforts to strengthen SOC capabilities and drive improvements
  • Regularly reviewing and optimizing SOC processes, workflows, and technologies to enhance overall operational efficiency
  • Supporting the development and documentation of SOC playbooks and incident response plans
  • Performing regular SOC assessments and offering specific recommendations for improvement

The successful candidate will have:

  • Over 5 years of experience working in SOC environments or related fields
  • A comprehensive understanding of SOC operations, including threat detection and incident response
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing security technologies within the SOC environment
  • Certifications in Cybersecurity and SOC operations (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members
