Job Opportunity at The Compleat Food Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining raw material specifications to ensure fit for purpose and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality and innovation in our products.
  • Assessing new raw materials and providing recommendations for their use in our products.
  • Supporting the development of new products and processes to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HND or equivalent in a food-related discipline.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
