Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Games Software Development

Glasgow Caledonian University, a leading modern university in Scotland, is seeking a talented individual to join its Department of Applied Computer Games as a Lecturer in Games Software Development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our teaching, research, consultancy, and knowledge transfer activities.

About the Role:

  • Deliver and manage selected Applied Computer Games programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Teach core software development topics such as C#, C++, Artificial Intelligence, OpenGL, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
  • Assist in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research theses.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our teaching, research, consultancy, and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements:

  • Education to at least masters level, or a bachelor's degree level with a minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.
  • A strong personal desire and commitment to engage in teaching and to contribute to research/consultancy.
