Regional Commercial Manager Opportunity

Kier Construction is seeking an experienced Regional Commercial Manager to join our North West Region. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial professional to oversee commercial teams and drive commercial performance in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commercial teams and ensure effective implementation of commercial strategy
  • Manage staff and collaborate across departments and business units
  • Produce high-level consolidated cost and expenditure reports
  • Set and oversee financial contingency built into projects
  • Review potential contractor and supplier claims
  • Manage commercial resource allocation and ensure adequate coverage for all tenders and live projects
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior commercial capacity within a Tier 1, construction-focused main contracting environment
  • Excellent overall contractual awareness and strong understanding of NEC, JCT conditions, arbitration, and adjudication processes
  • Strong commercial reporting track record and ability to produce board-level reports
  • Experience in developing and implementing wider commercial strategies to drive work-winning, business unit growth, and profitability
