Job Description

This role involves overseeing engineering projects focused on implementing new plant installations, enhancing automation, and ensuring the completion of all maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will lead and manage an engineering team, with responsibilities including managing internal workloads and coordinating with external contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Plant and Machinery Installation: Oversee the installation of plant and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Contractor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage contractors for engineering projects.
  • Engineering Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing engineering project team.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline would be advantageous. Further education and/or training in project management is preferred.

Proven experience in project management, particularly in plant and machinery installation, is essential. Demonstrated success in contractor management and team leadership is also required.
