Prison Education Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrator to join our Prison Education team. As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the curriculum management team and tutors in the everyday running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
- Receive and act on telephone/personal enquiries and action where appropriate.
- Produce various reports as required to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
- Undertake examination invigilation in line with College policies and awarding body regulations.
- Support the setting up of student files and individual learning plans (ILPs) according to the Prison Education Framework and the College systems, processing applications and enrolments to education classes.
- Experience in an Administration or secretarial role.
- Experience with processing and data-entry.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and highly competent with Excel.
- Experience in a similar role in an education setting (desirable).
- Have a calm and patient demeanour.
- 22.5 hours per week.
- Approx- £13,800 (FTE £23,000) salary scale.
- 25 days + bank holidays.
