Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge? D R Newitt Recruitment is supporting a leading skincare brand in their search for an experienced R&D Product Launch Expert.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage innovative New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects. This role will involve taking full ownership of projects from concept through to launch, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in a similar role with a strong manufacturing exposure. They will possess extensive project management skills, a clear understanding of New Product Development processes, and a passionate, energetic, and self-driven attitude to make things happen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Development: Develops, presents, and delivers the most efficient plan of action to support full delivery of strategic product pipeline.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Identifies solutions to project blockers, prioritizes and manages project resources to resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Product Evaluation: Facilitates commercial evaluations of new products and during post-launch analysis.
  • Project Timelines: Owns the project timeline and holds the cross-functional team accountable to deliver on time, on budget, and in agreed quality.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensures all product launches follow agreed processes and are supported by necessary documentation.
  • Risk Escalation: Escalates project risks to the Head of R&D Project Delivery for visibility and support in resolution when needed.
  • Effective Communication: Communicates risks effectively to the business and Senior Stakeholders to enable informed and timely decision making.
  • Team Leadership: Leads project meetings efficiently with the ability to ask the right questions that will break down complex problems into a clear set of actions.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the Stage Gate process, be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. A positive Team Leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this role.

The estimated salary for this role is £62,000 - £82,000 per annum, depending on experience.
