We're seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship Kotlin app. This app is revolutionizing how people control and share their data, and we're looking for someone to help us take it to the next level.

About the Role

You'll be part of our engineering team, responsible for major new features in our flagship Android app. This is an exciting chance to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing business and contribute to the development of a groundbreaking product.

As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be working closely with our existing team to influence technical discussions, API designs, and architecture. You'll be using 100% Kotlin in your daily work, with a focus on delivering high-quality features to our customers.

Our Android app is built using Kotlin, with Compose for new features and a gradual replacement of existing XML layouts. We're heavily modularized, with each feature having its own dedicated module, and we have a combination of unit, UI, and integration tests in place.

Requirements

This is the ideal opportunity for you if you have:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with Android development
  • A strong grasp of the Kotlin language
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous delivery
  • Ability to describe solutions and their architectural tradeoffs
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
